2021 가을학기 온라인 미술사 수업 개강합니다!
9월 9일(목)부터 12월 16일(목)까지 14주 동안 2021년 가을 맞이 미술사 강연 프로그램을 온라인으로 진행하합니다. 강사로는 고진영 박사가 대중의 눈높이에 맞춘 재밌는 강연으로 누구나 현대 미술 문화를 이해하고 즐길 수 있도록 길을 안내할 예정입니다.
이번 강의 주제는 한국의 근현대 미술(Modern and Contemporary Art of Korea)이며, 이건희 컬렉션 이야기부터 단색화, 민중미술, 설치미술과 팝아트까지 한국 근현대 미술의 흐름을 살펴보고, 이인성, 이쾌대부터 김수자, 이불, 서도호까지 이어지는 한인 작가들의 작품과 작업세계를 탐색할 예정입니다.

AHL Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting artists of Korean descent, will hold its 14-week long Korean-language Fall 2021 Art History course from September 9th to December 16th via Zoom. Professor Koh Jinyoung will guide the class through the dynamic history of Korean modern and Contemporary art with engaging lectures tailored for the general public. Dr. Koh invites students to delve into the artistic and historical contexts behind prominent artists such as Lee Inseoung, Lee Quede, Kimsooja, Lee Bul and Do Ho Suh as well as the stories behind the Dansaekhwa, Minjung Art, and Pop Art movements.
Jinyoung Koh is an assistant professor, Department of Art + Design, Art History, Art Education at Towson University in Maryland. Dr. Koh completed a Doctor of Education in Art & Art Education from Columbia University in New York. He earned a Master of Fine Arts in photo & media from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chi- cago. His art has received numerous awards and is included in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Rockefeller Foundation. Lectures will be conducted in Korean.
